Building Community

From the very beginning Northeast Iowa Community College has been dedicated to enriching its community through providing in-demand education and training. NICC grads throughout the years have gone on to become pillars of our local communities. It hasn't only been graduates that make an impact in NICC communities, throughout the years students have been given many opportunities through their studies to make a real and direct impact on their communities. NICC has had a number of programs throughout the years that have had a direct impact on their communities.

Though many programs would go out into the community for hands on learning experiences, none are quite as visible as our Carpentry Program, which has built a number of homes throughout northeast Iowa throughout the tenure of the college. Below is a selection of the bruchures prepared for the different homes built throughout the years.

Outside of the carpentry program, a number of other programs that the college has offered throughout the years that have interated with our comminuities.
