Abstract

Published in a glossy covered magazine-style format, this news publication, Through the Eyes of an Indian, was owned and published by Tom McKay in Barowning, Montana and served the people of the Blackfeet Nation.  "The news contained in this weekly circulation will be reported to you by a staff of reporters that will report only the facts as they happen.  The information will be by documentation, witnessing the occurrence, personal interviews, or all three."  Included with the 35 issues of the periodical is a folder of news clippings from the Great Falls Tribune  covering the libel lawsuit of Blaze Construction against Through the Eyes of an Indian and its staff, and the resultant counter-suit.
