Abstract

This collection contains 17 postcards of nature photographs of Yellowstone National Park, Cody Road to Yellowstone, Shoshone Dam, Wind River Canyon, Thermopolis & Boysen Dam. He took these photos while employed for the Northern Pacific Railroad Company.

Biographical Note

Asahel Curtis was a photographer from Washington State, born in Ohio in 1874. He was employed by the Northern Pacific Railroad Company to take photographs for postcards.
