Abstract

Spanning four folders, this collection contains mostly photographs of Phelps' work taken from different angles. The collection also contains flyers, pamphlets and art books concerning the showing of his art from the Alpine Gallery in Evergreen, Colorado in 1970.

Biographical Note

Rusty Phelps is an artist who makes Western-themed bronze statues with lifelike realism. He was born in Petyon, Colorado on October 1, 1936 and currently resides in Colorado Springs. He is a graduate of The University of Colorado and owns his own business-- Phelps Western & Wildlife Art, Incorporated.
