Biographical Note for Rusty Phelps (1936-present) : Rusty Phelps is an artist who makes Western-themed bronze statues with lifelike realism. He was born in Petyon, Colorado on October 1, 1936 and currently resides in Colorado Springs. He is a graduate of The University of Colorado and owns his own business-- Phelps Western & Wildlife Art, Incorporated.
