Abstract
This collection includes the research materials and notes of Glenda Bell and Barbara Fisher from their exhibition and presentation titled "Yellowstone's Faithful Tourists in the National Park." The exhibition and the presentation focused on tourism in the national park, specifically the first white women in the park and their experiences. The exhibition ran from June 9th 1989 to November 30 1989. Bell and Fisher's presentation was very "spirited" and had a fun little script that made the presentation like an informational play.
Administrative/Biographical History
Glenda Bell and Barb Fisher worked together to create this temporary exhibition and presentation of "Yellowstone's Faithful Tourists in the National Park." The two women also worked together on projects about the Wild Western woman Calamity Jane. They put together a traveling show about her life, which they performed all over. The scriptwriting skills of the two women can be seen in the script in this collection for their presentation on women in Yellowstone. Author: Annie Stratton
