Administrative/Biographical History
The album is of a girls' trip out to Yellowstone to work and live there for a summer. The pictures are dated between the years 1922-1925. The subjects of the photographs illustrate what it was like to live out at the park and work out there. They also have interesting photos that relate to park history, such as bears eating out of the dump that was there until the 60s and the bus parts out at Mammoth. Other pictures also show a ranch rodeo and ranching life in the early 1900s. Finally these pictures are interesting to look at in studying the fashion worn for working at Yellowstone and ranches in the 1920s. Author: Annie Stratton
