Abstract

Eighteen hand-tinted stereograph cards and seven postcards depicting Native American Indians.  The stereographs date from c. 1898 – c. 1899, and some of them include a copyright statement by T. W. Ingersoll.  All the stereograph cards are similar in format, with a number and title printed on the front underneath the image and several paragraphs of text on the back.  The postcards (©1986) reproduce sepia photographs of Native Americans in Taos, New Mexico taken by B. G. Randall around 1905.  Most depict ceremonial dances, and some show pueblos in the background.
