14 sketchbooks containing primarily pencil and charcoal drawings depicting a variety of subjects.

Series 2. Loose Sketches, 1922, 1.5 ft (Box 2) –

9 loose pencil sketches depicting architecture and nudes.

Fourteen sketchbooks and nine loose sketches by Robert Coe, primarily in pencil and charcoal.  The sketchbooks depict a variety of subjects, from buildings to dogs to landscapes.  There are many drawings of locations in Europe and a few of the area around Cody, Wyoming.  The loose sketches depict architecture and nudes, and were probably done for a class, as they all have grades penciled on them.  Some of the drawings in the collection have dates, but most do not.
