Abstract
The Furman-Lockhart Research Collection contains materials used by Necah S. Furman to write a biography of Caroline Lockhart. Caroline Lockhart was a newspaper woman and novelist from the East who ranched in regions in both Wyoming and Montana, and finally settled in Cody, Wyoming. The bulk of this collection is photocopies of Lockhart’s diaries, but many copies of her books and Furman’s notes and manuscript copies are also included.
